Dive into the World of Sharks
Hi, I’m Jillian Morris—a marine biologist, shark conservationist, underwater photographer, and the founder of Sharks4Kids. I’ve dedicated my life to studying, protecting, and sharing the incredible world of sharks. Known as the Bimini Shark Girl, my work combines science, education, and photography to inspire people to see sharks in a new light.
I've been working with sharks for over 20 years and love sharing my knowledge and passion with others.

Education is the key to conservation, which is why I founded Sharks4Kids. Through classroom visits, virtual lessons, and hands-on experiences, we’ve helped thousands of students learn about sharks and the ocean. Watching kids get excited about sharks, ask questions, and see them as something worth protecting is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

As a passionate and award winning underwater photographer, I use my camera to tell stories about sharks and marine life. My images have been featured in books, magazines, and conservation campaigns, helping people learn about and connect with these remarkable animals.

I’ve been lucky to be part of incredible shark research projects focusing on behavior, habitat use, migration, and conservation. I’ve conducted tagging and tracking studies, population assessments, and non-invasive research techniques to understand better and protect different shark species.
